Curious about mosaic art? Come learn the process from start to finish!

Join Karen Laiacona of Purple Turtle Art for a hands-on introduction to the colorful world of mosaics. Designed with beginners in mind, this workshop will walk you through the techniques, tools, and materials you need to create a finished mosaic piece of your own.

During the workshop, you'll learn:

• The different types of mosaic bases (also called substrates) and how to choose the proper adhesive

• How to plan and design a mosaic pattern

• How to cut and place tiles

• How to safely use tile nippers

• How to apply grout for a sturdy, finished decorative piece

You'll have plenty of hands-on instruction as you work through each step of the mosaic process.

Choose Your Design

All materials are included, and you'll choose one of three 6-inch mosaic bases for your project:

Butterfly • Owl • Heart

By the end of the workshop, you'll have experience with the entire mosaic-making process—and a colorful piece of your own to show for it.

No previous mosaic experience is needed.
