Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Create a delicate felted butterfly using the timeless technique of needle felting, then mount your finished piece into a found photo frame for a vintage-inspired specimen display.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn how loose wool fibers can be shaped, layered, and sculpted using barbed needles to form soft, dimensional designs. You’ll explore basic felting techniques while creating a butterfly that feels both artistic and archival in presentation.
Each participant will choose from a selection of found frames, giving every finished piece its own character and story. Your completed butterfly can be displayed as wall décor, incorporated into a gallery collection, or gifted as a thoughtful handmade piece.
All materials and instruction are included, and no prior experience is necessary.
