I hope someone likes this chair since the money raised is going to the Cancer Center. They help so many people of all ages.
I have heard the word "cancer" a lot over my lifetime. My husband and I have lost many family members and friends to cancer. It is so hard to lose someone to any kind of illness, but when you hear the word cancer, your heart drops because you know how bad it can get. So, this past year when our daughter told us she had Breast Cancer, it was the last thing we ever expected to hear. It was devastating, so we could only imagine how she was feeling. She had just lost her husband unexpectedly only two months earlier. But, she is very strong, and God has been with her and us through all of this. Also, the love she has for her daughter helped her push through all of the pain and heartache. We are proud of her for having the courage and strength to fight it.
The Cancer Center is there for her and provides lots of care and support. They have been amazing. So, with all of the doctors and workers there and her friends and family's help, she is doing well. We are so thankful to everyone.
My chair represents America, and I pray someday this country can be recognized for finding a cure, so that no one ever has to hear the word cancer again.
