Dana Abee Reynolds, Survivor 2024

My chair was inspired by the struggles we face with a life or death decisions to have surgery. I can remember the Drs walking in to tell me the news like it was just an everyday thing you find out you have cancer. You have the type that can’t be biopsied sooooo, we won’t know anything until you have the surgery. It is growing rapidly but you should be fine. Then they say… Oh your insurance doesn’t cover that. Sorry but “the Hope” center can no longer see you as a patient. Good Luck!

Then an Awesome Angel from this Foundation showed up after a friend told them my story. One month later they had me scheduled for surgery. The tumor had grown to 8 pounds. It was literally squishing me from inside. I named it Nancy since it was big as a baby!

Today I am healthy, didn’t have to do radiation or chemo I Thank God everyday!

I have lost so many friends & family to cancer :( Hopefully someday they will find a cure.

Until then Stay Strong, appreciate your life. It can change so fast!
