Mitzi’s | Mitzi Morris
Mitzi Morris has been creating for as long as she can remember, learning to sew at a young age under the guidance of her mother. What began as a lifelong love of making things for her home eventually led to the launch of her business in 2018. Textiles have always been her creative language—she admits to “hoarding” beautiful fabrics from her favorite quilt shop and enjoying them long before she’s willing to cut into them. Her appreciation for quality materials and the stories they carry is the foundation of everything she creates.
Mitzi’s work centers on thoughtfully crafted textile goods made with premium fabrics, upcycled cutter quilts, and vintage linens. She’s committed to preserving the history woven into older textiles, transforming them into new pieces that still hold their original warmth and comfort. Her very first product - handmade rope baskets - remains a signature item, created from 100% cotton rope sourced in North Carolina, a material she proudly considers local.
Today, Mitzi’s product line includes aprons, thick and durable pot holders, tea towels, farmers market totes, pillows, Christmas ornaments, and more. Each piece is handmade with care, reflecting her love for well-worn textiles, heirloom materials, and the timeless appeal of handcrafted work. Mitzi creates with the hope that her items bring beauty, function, and a sense of home to every space they enter.
