Macrame Wristlet Keychain Kit

Start by measuring & cutting two lengths of 6 feet from your cord bundle.

Then fold each cord with 2 feet on one side of the fold and 4 feet on the other and attach it to the keychain with a larks head knot. You want the shorter ends to be in the center with the longer working cords on the outside.

First create a spiral knot.

Then leave about one inch of cord, and begin securing a series of 23 square knots.

Once you’ve finished your knots, you’ll fold the strand on itself so that the first full square knot and the last align.

thread the ends through the keychain loop and lay straight against the opposite side. (See Video)

Next, use the remaining length of your cord bundle (about a foot) to create a gathering knot.

Secure knot and trim your ends.
